This Hotel in Sweden is Made Only From Ice

Sweden, one of the most beautiful Nordic countries in Scandinavia, is home to a magnificent hotel that is made simply from ice.

This hand-sculpted Icehotel looks like it has come out of some winter wonderland or Narnia.

When the winters arrive in Sweden, the Torne River’s pristine water slows down and freezes into ice.

This Icehotel was first made from the giant ice blocks of this very river on one fine day in 1989, and over the years, it has become a notable and must-see tourist attraction for people around the globe.

A unique attribute of this stunning masterpiece is that every winter since this hotel was built, artists come together in the town of Jukkasjäarvi, which lies 200 kilometers away from the Arctic Circle, to recreate the hotel from scratch.

As spring arrives, the Icehotel eventually melts and finds its way back to nature. Every year this hotel witnesses a new rendition which is always one of a kind and brings tones of cherishable memories.

The Icehotel 365

It is usually advised to stay in the ice room of the hotel for a night during the winter and then move to the standard rooms for the rest of your trip, so you do not get sick or succumb to a cold.
