Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun is the newest luxury beach resort in Cancun, the resort recently opened in early 2023.
The resort is in partnership with Blue Diamond Resorts and Marriott International. Marriott International is an American global hospitality chain that has an extensive international portfolio of resorts. The Royalton in Cancun will be one of their newest all-inclusive resorts.
The property for the Royalton is north of Puerto Morelos and Playa del Carmen, located just 35 minutes from the Cancun International Airport.
Marriott International first started offering an all-inclusive experience in 2019 in Barbados when they acquired the Elegant Hotels Group, which consisted of 7 hotels. Marriott International acquired the seven hotels and is set to expand its all-inclusive offering throughout Latin America.
All-inclusive resorts will offer accommodations, three meals a day, drinks, sports, water sports, activities, and much more.
Marriott International is partnering with Blue Diamond Resorts to develop the Royalton in Cancun. Blue Diamond Resorts is a part of Sunwing Travel Group’s hotel division.
Marriott’s current all-inclusive locations include Antigua, Barbados, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Jamaica, Mexico, and St Lucia.
The Royalton will feature 1049 rooms with several entertainment features, including 12 restaurants, a convention center, a kids club, a bowling alley, a multipurpose theatre, laser tag, and indoor trampoline classes.
The hotel will have extensive wellness and fitness features, including Royalton Fit and the Royalton Spa, a luxury facility with hydrotherapy.
One of the hotel’s biggest attractions will be the water park with 14 slides, two lazy rivers, and splash pads. Additionally, the hotel will offer magnificent views of the Caribbean and unforgettable days in the turquoise water.
The resort will offer guests the opportunity to upgrade to its Diamond Club for exclusive access to additional dining, pool, and beach amenities.
The Royalton will be one of Marriott’s Autograph Collection Hotels, which expands Marriott’s offering of all-inclusive resort experiences and all-inclusive stays in the Caribbean and Latin America.
Marriott International brings operational expertise and 164 million Marriott Bonvoy members. Marriot Bonvoy is Marriott International’s loyalty program that allows members to earn and redeem points for their stays at any Bonvoy brand.
These brands include The Ritz-Carlton, St Regis, JW Marriott, Sheraton, Westin, and Renaissance Hotels. The Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun will create new international opportunities for guests to experience amazing all-inclusive experiences.
