This Beef and Bowtie Pasta with Alfredo Sauce is a rich and creamy dish that combines hearty ground beef, tender farfalle pasta, and a luscious homemade Alfredo sauce. It’s the perfect comfort food for a weeknight dinner!
Ingredients
For the Pasta and Beef:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Alfredo Sauce:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Brown the Beef
In a large skillet, heat 1 tbsp olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Once fully cooked, remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet, heat 1 tbsp olive oil and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
Slowly stir in the Parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese, whisking until smooth and creamy. Let the sauce thicken for another 2-3 minutes on low heat.
Step 4: Combine Everything
Return the cooked ground beef to the skillet and stir to coat it in the sauce. Add the drained pasta and toss everything together until fully combined.
Step 5: Serve and Enjoy
Serve the Beef and Bowtie Pasta with Alfredo Sauce hot, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley if desired.
Tips for the Best Flavor
